TREE OF LOVE

14 Apr

I had the pleasure of working with the beautiful Erica and fiance John on their wedding invitations. The proposal set place under an old tree on his farm out in Texas. He popped the question by engraving “Will you marry me?” into the trunk. Not to mention that the tree was cover in a million twinkle lights. Are you kidding me?! That is every little girl’s dream. Naturally, the couple exchanged vows under the tree in true fairytale fashion. One of my favorite piece of this wedding suite is the real wood envelope. It is beautiful, functional and USPS friendly. Congrats to Erica and her prince charming in boots!

RUSTIC PLACE CARD HOLDERS

2 Dec

Happy Holidays!! I love this time of year and so does my inner Martha Stewart. I fall into a happy trance of decorating the house, making soup almost every night, sipping on hot beverages throughout the day and curling up by the fireplace every chance I get. For Thanksgiving, one of my duties was making place holders for the table. I happened to have some pieces of logs laying around the house, some spare card stock from the letterpress room and a hand saw. I cut a groove on the top of the logs deep enough to hold up the name card. It was so easy and didn’t cost a thing. It’s a great way to bring a touch of the outdoors into your house. Enjoy!

FIRST DATE WITH OUR NEW PRESS

15 Nov

After a much needed cleaning session, my new press Chandler was ready to print. With a little elbow grease and tons of simple green, I was able to remove 100 years of ink buildup, rust and old paint. Humm..(eyes tearing up)….I am totally in love with my new press. He prints beautifully with crisp lines and bold colors. Here is a little sneak peek at our holiday card.

Sookie keeping an eye out and making sure everything runs smoothly.
